DS200SIOBH1ABA (SIOB) is a universal mixed-signal I/O expansion board exclusive to GE Mark V turbine control and EX2000 generator excitation systems. It acts as a centralized signal interface between field sensors/actuators and rack main control CPU via the proprietary ISBus VME backplane.
The board integrates analog and discrete signal conditioning circuits with surge suppression and galvanic isolation to eliminate industrial EMI interference from excitation SCR cabinets and variable frequency drives. Abundant DIP switches and jumper pins support on-site hardware configuration without software tools. Dual 40-pin D-Sub connectors consolidate all field wiring for simplified cabinet maintenance.
Single front-panel LED provides global board health and communication status indication, with per-channel fault detection for open/short circuits, over-range analog signals and relay coil failures.
